Since I began my own company in 1990, customer service has been the most important part of my business. This has been recognized several times not only by the factories that we deal with but by my peers in the industry as well. We have the honor of receiving the Customer Satisfaction Award from Fleetwood for 10 years. I had served on the Alberta Apprenticeship Committee for 18 years and was elected president of the RVDA of Alberta in 2001 and 2002. R.V Lifestyles Inc. was also named Dealer of the Year in Alberta 2003 and 2005.

In 1979 I started as a tech in the shop of the largest RV sales and rental company in Ontario; there I learned the importance of team work and customer satisfaction. In 1981 I was asked to move to Calgary to help open up a branch of the same sales and rental company as their service and rental manager. This was a huge move for me and I took it very seriously. The importance of customer service became more prevalent than ever as I was working with people from all over the world. In 1990 I started my own RV Service and Sales shop and called it Canopyland Campers, taking my knowledge of customer service and applying it to my one man operation. I began to build my business by offering to do overflow service and repair work for the other much larger RV companies in town.

In 1993 I purchased an aluminum siding company that makes RV siding and roofing. With this purchase I had a 2nd location and grew to a total of 6 employees. Then in 1994 I moved my 2 locations into our present building at 2620 Barlow Trail N.E.Calgary AB and changed the name to R.V. Lifestyles Inc. I was now able to offer a much more in depth service to my customers: professional body repair and any other parts or accessories required plus a full team of service, counter and sales staff. Our service team members are licensed RV technicians or are apprenticing and constantly being upgraded to keep up with all the improvements to your RV. With this move I also acquired the best folding trailer line ever made: the COLEMAN folding trailer by FLEETWOOD. In 2003 the name Coleman was removed from the trailers and they are now known as FLEETWOOD FOLDING TRAILERS. Today we offer all the services for any RV traveling on the road.
